Riksbank governor awarded King's medal
Riksbank governor Stefan Ingves was on February 16 awarded a King's Medal for "outstanding contributions in the financial sector".
The King's Medal was first given out in the 1850s, and is presented to Swedish and foreign citizens for special merit and to officials of the Royal Court for long and faithful service. The medal is combined with chain or ribbon and there are both gold and silver versions in various sizes.
