European Payments Council raises concerns over Sepa regulation

The European Payments Council (EPC), the decision-making body for the European banking industry on issues related to payments, on Wednesday raised a number of concerns over the European Union's (EU) regulation of the Single European Payments Area (Sepa).

At a media briefing to journalists led by Gerard Hartsink, an executive at banking group ABN Amro and the EPC's chair, the industry body urged EU lawmakers to adopt the Sepa regulation as soon as possible to provide planning security for all
