Bank of Lithuania opens its doors to the public

The Bank of Lithuania has invited the public to come inside the central bank on Sunday, October 2. Citizens of Vilnius will be given the opportunity to participate in the 'Doors Open' arrangement for the very first time.

The open day is to commemorate the Bank of Lithuania's birthday. The central bank opened its doors on October 2, 1922 – on the same day the national currency, the litas, entered into circulation.
