Czech President names new rate-setter
Lubomír Lízal, an economist at the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences, on Tuesday was appointed to the Czech National Bank's Bank Board for a six-year term.
Lízal will replace Robert Holman, whose term at the central bank expires on February 12, as a chief executive director on February 13 and will be assigned a vote on the Bank Board. Pavel Řežábek, a current member of the Bank Board and chief executive director since 2005, has been reappointed for a second six-year term. Both
