Basel Committee has agreed on capital ratio: Buba’s Zeitler
The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision has agreed on a proposal for capital ratios, a member of the committee on Wednesday said.
"As to the level of capital ratios, the committee has found a compromise as compared to the proposal," Franz-Christoph Zeitler, the vice president of the Bundesbank and a member of the committee, told reporters on Wednesday. A spokesperson for the central bank confirmed the quote.
Zeitler did not mention what level was agreed.
