Indonesia’s finance minister named World Bank managing director
Mulyani Indrawati, the finance minister of Indonesia, has been named managing director of the World Bank, replacing Juan José Daboub, who completes his four-year term on 30 June.
In her new role Indrawati will supervise three regions: Latin America and Caribbean, Middle East and North Africa, and East Asia and Pacific. She will also oversee the Information Systems Group.
