Icelanders protest outside central bank

Icelanders have staged a protest outside the country's central bank reportedly calling for the resignation of the governor, David Oddsson.

Reuters, a news agency, said on Friday that 200 people had gathered outside the central bank saying that the governor should resign.

A spokesman for the central bank confirmed to Central Bank News that the protest had taken place, however he refused to divulge any further details and said that the central bank had no additional comment to make.
