Lithuanian c bank to set 2002-2004 guidelines

LITHUANIA - Lithuania's central bank said its board will discuss on 30 August its action plan for the next three years, but the document will not affect exchange rate policy.

"The document recognises that the current exchange rate and monetary policies are suitable," Raimondas Kuodis, the head of the bank's monetary policy department, said.

"This is an internal document that sets out major tasks that the bank has to accomplish over next three years regarding integration into European monetary
