Risk Management Benchmarks 2025 – model banks analysis

Drilling into the data reveals patterns in risk prioritisation and department structure

Central Banking’s benchmarking service entered its fifth series in 2024. Higher response rates over time have opened up more possibilities for drilling into the data, and the model banks analysis now includes a breakdown based on central bank size, as well as economic development. As in other benchmarks, size appears to matter: in risk, it seems linked to the structure of the risk management department. In other respects, economic group seems more important.

There is a very clear distinction
