This executive summary provides an overview of the Currency Benchmark 2020 report, which offers perspectives on staffing, circulation, forecasting, fraud, substrate choice, outsourcing and climate risk and is part of Central Banking’s new Benchmarking Service. It draws on data contributed from 34 central banks and aims to provide policy-makers with the ability to compare themselves with international peers.
