Improved IT and data provision helped Reserve Bank of Australia
The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) developed an upgraded banknote infrastructure programme in 2018. Its aim was to prepare for logistical demands arising from the introduction of its new banknote series. To help the central bank achieve its goal in implementing its Banknote Infrastructure Modernisation Program (BIM) – an end-to-end modernisation of banknote logistics – the central bank’s printer, Note Printing Australia (NPA), was on hand.
