UK mobile payments growth continues as Vocalink eyes overseas projects
Vocalink ‘hoping to be involved’ in US work on faster payments
Mobile payments are increasingly being adopted by UK consumers, but several factors are contributing to continued caution, according to a report published today (September 9) by payments provider Vocalink.
The research follows on from a 2013 report and finds mobile payments in the UK have grown in the intervening years. A total of 38% of 5,000 respondents have now downloaded a mobile banking app, up from 27%.
